The Marine Academy of Science and Technology (MAST) was founded
in 1981 and is located within the National Historic Landmark,
Fort Hancock, on Sandy Hook NJ which is part of the National
Park Service’s Gateway National Recreation Area. The MAST program is focused on marine sciences, utilizing an ocean-going research vessel as well as classroom and lab facilities in a number of small separate buildings to support these studies. Kellenyi Johnson Wagner has been involved for a number of years designing renovations to some of these existing buildings and new construction of others.
