Following the completion of the Neptune High School Additions and Alterations project, Kellenyi Johnson Wagner designed the Neptune Aquatic Center. Attached to the high school, this 27,600 square foot natatorium features an eight lane, 25 meter pool with an extended shallow end for therapy and a zero depth entry “beach”.
The pool is optimized for competition, with wide side lanes designed to minimize chop, integrated timing system and LED score board. Team seating for large meets is located on the first floor pool deck adjacent to locker rooms. Tiered bleachers on the second floor balcony provide spectator seating for over 300. Glass guardrails offer uninterrupted views of the pool.
Kellenyi Johnson Wagner headed-up a large team of specialty Design Consultants and provided Construction Management through the course of this project.
